Questionnaire

Questions have been composed for the books Ship Knowledge, Stability and Colregs. These questions can be used to test one’s knowledge. They can be found on the website under questionnaire. The answers are not always available on the website.  However, the questions follow the text of the book, so the answers can easily be found in the relevant book. For “Colregs” the answers are provided. Please keep in mind that in some cases more than one answer is possible.

Guarding Quality

Dokmar books are reprinted on a regular basis. Shortcomings are castigated, obsolete information is removed and new developments are added. To maintain the quality of the books at its high level, contributions by users are indispensable. For Dokmar it is of utmost importance that those working in the shipping industry give their comment and remarks regarding:

. choice of subjects

. level (in relationship to education)

. number of photos and drawings

. etc. 

Contributing to books

Providing us with fresh information, questions (multiple choice) or assignments with answers is highly appreciated by us.  Should these assignments and or information have the proper level and be of added value to the books, they will be rewarded by Dokmar.  The same holds good for giving us new subjects e.g. new developments in your company. When your products are widely applied in the industry, some special subject may be part of the next edition.
